  • I analyzed the 20K SKU product line from the standpoint of type of component, commodity vs. proprietary, level of competitive pressure, primary customer. Established rules and margin targets based on the analysis criteria.

 Result 

  • Unprofitable SKU's repriced or removed, Margins increased on proprietary parts, committed parts priced to market (protecting share!)
